There were no reviews of this product when I ordered it, so I was a little hesitant to go through with a large purchase like this. The only review I could find was on another site and ut was very negative. But since this snowblower was from a resopected manufacturer and is made by a company that makes these for many other brand name sellers like Sears and Troybilt, I felt safe. When I received it, it was deliveed in a large cardboard box, not on a wood pallete. The contents were very well packed. The deilvery guys placed it in my garage without any complaint. They couldn't have been nicer or more professional. The unit required some assembly for the snow chute and the handles. The instructions were very unclear, but after abandoning those, I was able to figure out how to put these items together without much difficulty. You may to need to allow for about an hour though to complete this. Less if you can follow the instructions. The unit came filled to the right level with oil, so I only needed to add gasoline. Two days after receiving this unit we had about 15 - 18 inches of snow. The blower started up right away with one pull since I didn;t use the electric start. I started in the dark so the headlight was very useful. This unit cut through this amount of snow with amazing ease. the forward speeds took a little getting used to, but after a few minutes I settled in with the right speeds to use. The blower was a pleasure to use and what would have taken me 3 - 4 hours to shovel, took me about 35 minutes om my 85' driveway plus the walk to the front door. It cleaned down to the pavement with a second pass. I couldn't be happier with this device.
