Owned this for 2 years. Constantly repairing it. Cheap plastic wore out fast. Joy stick control allows chute to turn freely but does it on it's own, so you have to hold onto it all the time. Wheel drive belt too small and flies off all the time. Rubber drive wheel underneath slips constantly, Shear pins not available, Wear bars wore off fast.
Have it serviced by MTD service shop every time and they say they have turned into junk.
Never buy a MTD made again. Not like the good old days where things lasted for awhile.
